The dark

The cactus is blooming, pink upon pink and alien red tendrils sprout from the top. The tomato plants are soaked in fresh mud from the cool rains. Two firemen came to my door, Liz noticed the telephone pole on fire. I successfully cooked strawberry rhubarb jam today. It was a good day and I look forward to sleeping in, drinking coffee, and eating fresh jam on french bread.
