Whiskey anyone?
I have also been craving some old habits...thus, I'm spending this evening imbibing in the familiar. All I need is my old giant bath tub and I could spend a couple of hours listening to the new cd I bought, The Evens. My old boss finally gave me 2 cds of his band, The Delmonics. Those 3 cds got me through the drive home from Madison last night. Holly came with me on the trip and we visited all the old Madison haunts. I even saw our ol' pal Mr. Knutson. Development is springing up everywhere in the old neighborhood, and all my favorite shops from there are extinct (no more candle presents from Candle Cocoon). Out with the old in with the present.

you saw chris! how is he?
It was great to see him--that kid cracks me up...he complained of studying for med school while smoking a cigarette. We stopped briefly to get Holly's book back. It was his birthday--we offered a birthday breakfast but he opted for a nap.
