my thanks 2006 story
ok...so, first of all, happy thanksgiving to everyone!
the day started out normally, nothing to exciting...had some turkey, stuffing, cranberries...watched some football, and Babe(the movie about the pig with the weird tuft of hair on his head), but then, at about midnight the mayhem ensued:
i decided to step out on my balcony and take in the crisp Fall air in between downpours.
as i tried to slide the heavy glass door open to get back in, i saw that the stick that reinforces the lock had been gingerly put back into place by my loving cats...aren't they sweet sometimes!
i was making so much noise trying to pry the door off the track that the neighbor upstairs came out to see what was going on. i convinced him that i was the tenant of the apt and he kindly agreed to call the landlord...who called her daughter who lives upstairs and has a master key...i was saved.
so yeah...thanks 2006 was interesting...anybody else got a good story???

Why didn't you just scale your balcony? I've always wanted to do that.
my balcony's pretty high...and there are lots of rocks below...would probably have hurt myself.
It was a great story...I retold it about 5 times tonight to sober entrepeneurs.
