I'm listening to KEXP right now, wishing I could take another week off and get some projects done. Tonight is Darrin's film party (another fundraiser). I think Gretch is coming with me and possibly Liz & Nick. It is taking place at an art gallery, with live bands and 1 dollar PBR's. I just wish it would have been on a Saturday night!

So, my Thanksgiving was pretty swell. I spent the first part of the week at the cabin. I spent two full days there, mostly cooking, doing crosswords, and getting ready for the feast on Wednesday. The nights were spent by the fire, listening to old country and telling stories. Wednesday came and Holly cooked grouse (partridge as we call them in the Northwoods). I baked a pecan pie and Holly made cranberry apple. Yep, it was as traditional as you can get this year. Thursday was spent in Eau Claire with the relatives. Then, I headed back to RL to hang out with old friends and more family. I came home last night and was too exhausted to go to Mitch's 30th birthday party. It was good to have a night off, without alcohol, all to myself. Now I'm ready for tonight!
